just finished this mob caper involving a courier dead of a heart attack, buried, apparently, in his best blue suit, which, when last checked, had 250K of uncut heroin sewed in the lining. one of my favourite westlake novels, written back in 1966; great characters and characterization, fun dialogue, nice but loving swipes @ NYC (still timely). thanks to ethan iverson, the westlake authority and ultimate advocate. highly recommended.
